Check out this bug!

This is the second little critter like this I've found in my apartment. They attach themselves by the mouth-end to fabric, or in this case, toilet paper. They could easily be mistaken for little peices of plant matter, if they didn't choose to hang off the upper portions of my drapes, or lounge around on piles of clean laundry that haven't been near any plants. I put this little dude outside after our photo session. Does anyone know what these are called?

  1. It looks like a bundle of ting twigs! I haven't a clue what it might be though! Hope all is well! :) Christi

  3. Well, a wild guess, I would say it is either some sort of moth or grasshopper that is possibly eating the fabric or laying its eggs so the babies when they are hatched will have something to munch. I would definitely get rid of them. -Sue

  4. I am very sorry I missed hearing what is happening in your lives! So this is the story--after the last one I missed because my parents were in town and left later than expected (April), I didn't know what date was for the next one. I got Jess' text the day before May's, when I was up in Portland and we were hosting a brunch at my parent's house for my cousin's baby, plus I didn't have my computer or nifty headset with me (and with all the craziness of hosting, I forgot to text Jess back). Then, I have had a total of three days off work between then and now (ended up working two weekends in a row), and wrapping up my class and everything, and I haven't been to Starbucks to check Facebook or my other email accounts and I don't have Jess' or your emails on my llu account! So when is the next one (are they always the first weekend of the month?) Let me know and I'll make sure I plan for it! :) Christi

  5. We thought we would ask you when's good for you for the next one. So you can just email us and let us know. :) Looking forward to hearing what's been going on in your life, too, and I hope the story will involve a lot less work soon!
