Happy Last Day of Radiation, MOM!

Congrats are in order for my mom, who finishes radiation today!! I'm pleased to say it's gone well. You're cooler than a frozen lake in january, Mom! (and I'm sure I'm not alone in that opinion!)

  1. Thanks Stephanie. Such a nice wish from my most favorite daughter! You have certainly been a cheerful supporter during the procedure. Remember our jokes and keep laughing.

  3. Good to hear all went well! And it sure won't be too difficult to relax a bit, now that the troublemaker is on the other side of the pond!

  4. So do I. She makes enchiladas - though depending on how she makes them, they might in turn make trouble...

  5. Yeah! that's right! I make enchilades, and that should more than make up for any trouble I cause on this continent or that other one.

But, uh, good point, Stephan. Once in college my Residence Life staff had a gift exchange where the theme was "aroma"--you know, candles, coffee, etc.? The guy who drew my name gave me a bottle of beano. (men!! honestly!)

  6. Ok, I had to look up beano to figure out that I endorse that guy's sense of humor. Beano, to me, is a British comic magazine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beano
